Primary 6/7 children started their Shared Education Programme this morning. They were given a fascinating introduction to the world of business by Sandra Magee from Young Enterprise and Sinead Leonard from Boho Clips ad Crafts. We had five companies competing against each other making bracelets. The companies were called, 'World of Beads' ,'Bead Bracelets', Bags of Beads', 'Beads R Us' and 'Beads in Business'. Each group received a loan from Sandra and Sinead and they set to work buying the raw materials to make bracelets and sell for a profit. All the groups worked really well together and they all agreed that team work made for a successful profitable group. All the children are buzzing with ideas for what we can now make for the schools' business adventure.
