Catholics Schools' Week: Grandparents' Day
22nd Jan 2025
This day is always a highlight in our school calendar. The joy on the children's faces, as well as the grandparents', was evident during their performances, and it was heartwarming to welcome grandparents into the classrooms. Some children proudly showed their Granny or Granda their schoolwork, others enjoyed chatting, and many simply shared precious moments together. There is something truly special about the love and bond between grandparents and grandchildren, and it was a privilege to witness this in school today.
A heartfelt thank you to all the grandparents who took the time to visit. We also extend our gratitude to our incredible staff for preparing the children for the event, setting up the dining hall, serving tea, and ensuring everything was tidied up afterwards.
