The children of Killyhommon PS proudly marched out of school today clutching their wooden snowmen gifts for home. Each snowman is the height of the tallest family member currently attending Killyhommon PS. The other children’s heights are marked on the back of the snowmen. The idea being that each Christmas each family could take them out and see how much they have grown! Thank you the Men’s Shed in Belcoo for cutting the wood to all the different heights. The children painted the wood and marked the eyes and buttons with their fingerprints. Hopefully the snowmen made it safely home to be displayed somewhere among the Christmas decorations.
