P1-2 have had a busy week learning about Birds in Winter. P1 children made bird feeders using toilet roll holders, peanut butter and bird seed. P2 children made bird cake mixing seed, bread, berry pellets, soldier flies with lard. We watched quietly as the birds flew down to eat. We saw robins, sparrows and blue tits. The birds are chirping happily around Killyhommon this week!
