Congratulations to our Principal and friend Mrs Rasdale who completed her first marathon today; the Belfast City Marathon, along with 7 members of the Derrygonnelly running group and 13 relay members. Collectively, they have raised over £5000 for two charities; SWELL and Friends of Cancer.
Mrs Rasdale won't mind if our focus is on her! To run a marathon takes commitment, belief and determination. Yet the only person who didn't believe in her was herself!...'I hope I don't come last' were her words! Commitment is Mrs Rasdale's middle name. She is committed to her family, community and staff and children of Killyhommon. So unassuming, she goes over and beyond and always puts herself last. So relish in your achievement Mrs Rasdale, we were all so excited for your run and so proud of you as you continue to inspire us all!
