We are really enjoying our 'Amazing Africa' theme in P3 and P4. Children have so far located the continent of Africa on a map, we've learnt about how many countries and languages there are in Africa as well as special landmarks e.g. the Pyramids. We've learnt about Nelson Mandela and the Ndebele tribe. The children produced their very own Ndebele house and enjoyed learning about the Ndebele traditions and finding out that the houses have secret messages in their patterns! Included to see are the beautiful African sunsets produced too!
