Last Tuesday P3 and P4 children took part in a Moveable Toy workshop delivered by Jack from Sentinus. Sentinus aims to promote skills in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths). The children learnt about three key words; force, friction and gravity and saw how these worked by making their own model toy car. Once they were made the children then had a competition to see who's car would travel the furthest down a ramp with the top three getting to keep their cars!
