The P7s were very lucky to have Liz Brown from the Livestock & Meat Commission (LMC) in their class today. Liz gave the children a very informative food talk and a healthy eating cookery demonstration. Liz talked to the class about different types of food and the meaning behind different food labels, before treating them to a live cookery demonstration. The children all enjoyed watching Liz cook her chili beef pasta but I think they definitely enjoyed eating it more!!
