We recently held our highly successful Leavers’ Mass and P7 prize-giving ceremony to mark the conclusion of the 2023/24 school year. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Fr. Cathal for leading a beautiful and personal Mass, to Kevin McGrath, our guest speaker, and to Sr. Edel Bannon, who shared inspiring stories about her courageous brother, Tommy Bannon. Louise McLaughlin, our Chairperson, also acknowledged the contributions of three outgoing Board Governors: Mr. Paddy Murphy, Caresa Kelly, and Sr. Edel Bannon. Their wealth of experience will be greatly missed, but we have no doubt that they will continue to support us in any way they can. Congratulations to all the P7 children who received special awards recognising their unique talents, and a special mention to Molly and Rose Hussey, recipients of the Tommy Bannon Cup.
