What better way to spend the afternoon than outside? The P5/6 children have covered 3D shape and have been making nets into 3D shapes. Today they followed instructions and made their own matchbox style box. They designed it and built it. They were tasked to go outdoors and find 10 different things that can fit in the matchbox. We met at the end and discussed our findings. Some found new rhubarb leaves, bark, leaves, litter, worms and a tin opener!
Tonight the children have to go into their own gardens and collect another 10 different things. I am looking forward to see what they bring into class in the morning!!
