We had a lovely time celebrating World Book Day! We started the day with each child showing the class their favourite book and sharing their favourite parts. After that we joined a fabulous Libraries NI live lesson with the author Paddy Donnelly who read his award winning 'Fox & Son Tailers' book. We then followed along with a step by step drawing of the peacock character from the story with the children producing wonderful drawings. These, along with their own book covers which they designed this week are now proudly displayed in school.
